So by the time we got to Saturday, we’d already bopped to Blancmange, been scared silly by the Wall of Death, witnessed a stage invasion, and burnt our fingers on some hot German sausage… and we’d only just begun.

The Guardian, The Independent, Q Magazine, NME… Loserville is truly worthy of standing in a field next to any of them. And so we proved at the The Apple Cart Festival, a new music/comedy/cabaret/magic (?) celebration which took over leafy Victoria Park for one day only.

Have we mentioned it’s the Edinburgh Festival? Maybe we have… But for those of us who maybe can’t make it north of the border for whatever reason, don’t fret! There’s plenty of fringe to be had in London!

We’ve always believed that women rock and would make the world a better place if they were in charge. And now Loserville favourites Bob and Roberta Smith present a rather excellent free mini-festival proving us right.
Join Kate Nash’s tour protege Brigitte Aphrodite for jolly great fun tonight at St Pancras Old Church!
Get your shorts on, it’s summer.
Pretty much.
Stick two fingers up at the ever present threat of rain, for festival season is fast approaching. Of course, it’s not all about Glastonbury, and here at Loserville, we’re quite happy to stick within the confines of this magnificent capital city of ours, and enjoy all the festival type fun and frolics that London has to offer.

Well, apparently winter is over. We’re not so sure. While we all wait for global warming to, well, do some warming, here’s some fun/interesting stuff to do this month, all indoors and all vaguely excellent (probably).
We’re so excited that two of our favourites (Myra DuBois and Marcus Reeves) teaming up and having a good old plinky plonk and presenting a members club of exclusivity for all! We met her up in Edinburgh at Scottee’s Eat Your Heart Out night, during which 25 teeny boppers walked out, however we knew better and she was brilliant!
