So by the time we got to Saturday, we’d already bopped to Blancmange, been scared silly by the Wall of Death, witnessed a stage invasion, and burnt our fingers on some hot German sausage… and we’d only just begun.

1-3 September
Bourgeois & Maurice have taken the next logical step toward world-conquering, stadium-filling super stardom… they’ve only gone and got themselves a band!
It’s a To Do List of two halves this month, because THERE’S SO F*CKING MUCH TO DO! We’re loving September already and it’s only just begun!

We can’t wait to celebrate Duckie finally reaching the age of consent – we’d like to say we’ll be breaking her in gently, but we know she’s already been getting around a bit…

Loserville is stoked to catch up with Australian offbeat drag sensation Drags Aloud. Their uniquely biting show is entitled SHOW GURL and we can’t recommend it enought! It’s on at the Edinburgh Fringe at the “BELLY DANCER” UNDERBELLY, COWGATE – AUGUST 18 – 28 2011, 22:20PM tickets here.
The Guardian, The Independent, Q Magazine, NME… Loserville is truly worthy of standing in a field next to any of them. And so we proved at the The Apple Cart Festival, a new music/comedy/cabaret/magic (?) celebration which took over leafy Victoria Park for one day only.

Have we mentioned it’s the Edinburgh Festival? Maybe we have… But for those of us who maybe can’t make it north of the border for whatever reason, don’t fret! There’s plenty of fringe to be had in London!

There’s no filler here – just wall-to-wall, ball-achingly excellent hits from beginning to end. And we haven’t been paid a penny!

We just received some rather awesome news re: Laura Mugbridge’s stand-up storytelling show being performed in a VW Camper coming to Camden from Friday 1st – Thursday 7th July. Comedienne and raconteur Laura Mugridge is (quite literally) taking her show on the road this summer, in a 19 date tour.
Holy Cow, Is It Udderbelly Season Already?
Yes.
It is.
The E4 Udderbelly Festival is back at the Southbank Centre for a summer-long gigglefest of bovine proportions.

Well, apparently winter is over. We’re not so sure. While we all wait for global warming to, well, do some warming, here’s some fun/interesting stuff to do this month, all indoors and all vaguely excellent (probably).
Loserville groaned as received a BBC press release about the impending Comic Relief telethon on Saturday 5th March. However, the press release spoke of actually a rather brilliant idea. This is 24 Hour Panel People – a 24 hour comedy panel show with rotating special guest panelists as fronted by David Walliams.
We previewed the show a little while back, and were lucky enough to catch them at the end of last week. Now there are just three more chances to catch Bourgeois & Maurice at the Lilian Baylis Studio @ Sadler’s Wells for their hit show Can’t Dance.
Can’t Dance runs until December 23rd.
Lates at the Science Museum next Wednesday night from 18.45. We say: Silent Disco, STI tests and Sex eduction films from the 60s = rollicking good sex fun times…

Skinny, cute funny guy? Miserable, arrogant arse?* Loserville isn’t sure, but we think Simon Amstell’s new sitcom might be worth a look. Tune in tonight, 10pm on BBC2. Or, um, don’t? Oh, go on, the curly hair is back! *LV saw Mr Amstell at Edinburgh last year, and he was a bit grumpy. Awww, but [...]

So, Loserville had a night out at the RVT last night, and between pints we witnessed a veritable smörgåsbord of entertainment. It’s the Hot August Fringe see, running from July 26th (of course) to August 28th (that’s better).
