P&J Are Heading To The Fringe
Our good friends Pistol & Jack are heading up to Edinburgh, 27th-29th August
A couple of weeks back, Loserville was lucky enough to catch Pistol & Jack performing at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern as part of the Hot August Fringe. We loved every minute of it, from their quirky and inventive musical mash-ups, to their genuinely funny between-song banter, and we’re really looking forward to seeing them again sometime in London.
Loserville is at the Fringe at the moment, just about surviving on a diet exclusively consisting of fried goods, but unfortunately we can’t stick around to see P&J do their stuff. For you lucky ones who can make it, here are the deets:
Pistol & Jack will be part of the Kabarett: Alternative Variety show at The Voodoo Rooms on August 27th. The show kicks off at 7:15pm. More details here and here.
P&J addicts better have their running gear on, because on August 28th you can catch them at 7:30pm at The Kiwi Bar @ Walkabout with Brooks & Boris (click here); at 8pm at The GRV as part of London is funny presents… (click here and here); and at 10:30pm in Kitty Cointreau’s BraHaHa at the Zoo Roxy (click here and, if you’re of the myspace persuasion, here).

Finally, on August 29th, you’ve got two more chances to catch Pistol & Jack in all their fringey glory. They’ll be part of The Dead Comedian’s Socks – Edinburgh Review, kicking off at 7:20pm at the Laughing Horse @ Jekyll & Hyde (click here), and then they’ll be rounding off their whistle-stop tour of the streets of Edinburgh with a return visit to the Zoo Roxy with Kitty at 10:3opm (as above).
Let us know if you manage to catch P&J at any of these events – they all sound fab!
For those of us that aren’t Edinburgh-bound, there’s always Pistol & Jack’s Sunday Service (TimeOut ‘Critics Choice’) this Sunday (August 22nd) at the Soho Theatre in London, where they’ll be joined by the Ouse Valley Singles Club, Spam & Beans and the Slap and Tickle Girls. More details here and here (for Facebook fiends).
