…but we can’t :(

There’s just so much going on for Loserville at the moment that there are some cool things that we’d love to see but we just don’t have the time.

Tonight and tomorrow night, the Old Vic Tunnels play host to Dark Carnival, which looks like as fun and entertaining a way as any to kick-start your weekend. Doors open at 6pm both evenings, and on Saturday night the whole space will be transformed into a performance venue for a one-night-only experience from 8:30pm: Red Light Night!

They Say:

“Dark Carnival is an exciting cross art form celebration of what is best and most innovative about London, and indeed International, performance and art.

The Old Vic Tunnels will be host to a Carnival complete with a small cinema, art gallery, performances from the theatre world, cabaret, circus and music, and interactive installations. All simultaneously fusing a sound and sight spectacular.

Audiences are invited to make their own way through The Tunnels; engaging as much or as little as they wish. With inspiration brought from Italy, Chile and Brazil through our 3 main pinnacle performances. The evening will fly-by, definitely one not to miss.”

And about Red Light Night:

“The Old Vic Tunnels are transforming into a performance club venue! Aesthetically inspired by the red light district of Amsterdam & Bohemianism, for one night only the tunnels will be turned into an underground labyrinth of art, music, dancing, and ribald encounters in the dark.

Artists will be generating new performances for the tucked-away, hidden parts of the tunnels for you to find. Drinks and DJs will go till late. Feel free to dress up or down, wear a mask, or simply come for drinks and a party.”

Tickets for the Dark Carnival are £9 (£6 concessions) for either day.

Tickets for Red Light Night on Saturday are £5.

Any ticket purchased for Dark Carnival on Friday or Saturday gives you automatic entry into Red Light Night on Saturday.

We’d love to be there, but we just can’t make it :(

We really think this would be great fun, so please head along and let us know how it goes. Your comments are always welcome, and who knows, if you say something nice maybe Kevin Spacey will re-tweet you!
